Clearing
the browser Cache
For a number of reasons
(sharing a PC, accessing secure/unsecure sites, etc.), you may want/need
to clear your cached web pages from your hard disk. If you are working
on a public computer (or one that is shared by others), you may not want
others to know or be able to access the web pages that you accessed during
your session. To help reduce this possibility, use the directions below
to clear your browser's cache. This does not affect your history under
Communicator
-> Tools -> History (in Netscape), which still shows the web sites
or files that you have accessed. In Internet Explorer, merely click on
the Clear History button shown below in the screen shot.
