Reaching the UMUC database opening page

There are two ways to reach the opening page.

1. Click on http://www.umuc.edu/library/database/

Or

2. Enter through your WebTycho classroom. Click on the "Library" blue tab in the upper right corner of the screen and then click on "Web Databases."


Once the database page opens you will find the letters of the alphabet. Click on the letter of the individual database you are seeking. If you wish to use JSTOR database . . .

a. Click on "J."
b. The database menu appears. Click on "JSTOR."
c. Login by entering your last name and your Social Security number (without hyphens).
d. The JSTOR opening page appears.

If you wish to find a list of all the history databases . . .

a. Scroll down below the alphabet menu.
b. Click on history.

The linked titles of all the history databases will appear.
