About the Professor:

Except for a fifteen-month interval when he taught Math and Computer Studies for Saint Leo College in Key West, Florida, Mr. Dekle has been teaching CMIS courses, IFSM courses, Math courses, CMIT courses, and one Physics course for the University of Maryland University College since 1996. He has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne.  Mr. Dekle is an Adjunct Associate Professor.

He has a broad range of computer experience including: office applications, computer training, systems analysis, Internet web-site development, automatic test equipment design and implementation, and application development in Fortran, ATLAS, C/C++, Java, and Borland C++ Builder. Mr. Dekle has worked with several flavors of UNIX and UNIX like operating systems in his somewhat checkered past.

Currently Mr. Dekle teaches because his spouse will not let him stay home and look out of the window. In addition, his spouse uses Mr. Dekle's earnings to finance their extensive travels. Currently Mr. Dekle and his spouse reside in Northern Virginia. Mr. Dekle is happy. Just ask his spouse.
