Although I also teach face-to-face seminars, I primarily teach in the distance education program of the University of Maryland. Each seminar I conduct can involve students from practically anywhere in the world. My students have been in Europe, Iceland, the Near East, Asia, Africa, the continental USA, Hawaii, Guam, and South America--and in the case of some students, even underwater: I once had a student who was doing military service on a submarine!

 In spite of such varied and distant locations, however, my students know: I am only as far away from them as their computer keyoards. And whether or not you take a course from me, or one of my colleagues, believe me when I say that there are many instructors and courses being offered by the University of Maryland from which you can select which will help you on your road to academic, professional--and personal--success. The University of Maryland will help you reach your goals.
