My responsibilities are to provide you with a positive learning experience and environment which allows you to develop insights, knowledge, and skills in the realm of business and management. My aspirations for these courses are to stimulate your interests in business by supplying information and an arena for exchange which can be used in your personal and professional business philosophy and acumen.

The text is the basic resource for these courses, but it is only a starting point. My responsibility is to clarify, extend, or supplement the knowledge and experience gained from the text. Additionally, I would like to incorporate many of the issues and tools being used in innovative business development programs.

If there is any business related subject you would like discussed outside of class I will be happy to provide any assistance you may require. I have performed quite a bit of assistance to many businesses and can immodestly say that "I do not come cheap," but for the duration of the term I am at your service. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to come to me, as I am (hopefully) very approachable.

Because of erratic driving conditions (and my erratic driving) and your schedules, I will be very flexible in determining my "office hours." For me, the best time for an unannounced meeting is after class. I will also try to be available at least half an hour before the class is scheduled to begin. If this is inconvenient for you, just give me an advance notice and I will make myself available at a time mutually convenient.

A final note...I am not asking you to bear with me, I am asking you to join me in a learning experience. (Remember, act like you're in love.) I like to get busy and have some fun with these courses. If it's fun it will seem a little less like work, and, as they say, it's only work if you would rather be someplace else doing something else.
