Weekly Article/Web Site Reporting |
In addition to the assignments in your texts, each student is to share a summary and citation for one article or web site review from outside reading each week with the class beginning with Week 2 (except for any term breaks).
Post your article summary with citation or your Web site review with links in the Class Conference on Articles.
Other students are invited to comment on postings.
If you find your article on the Web, provide a link to the whole article in your summary. Do not type print-based articles into the computer. Just provide a citation so we can find the original if need be. Summarize and comment on the article sufficiently so we can see the importance and significance of the article to our discussion.
This brings up the issue, "What articles or web sites should I review?" Articles and web sites should be significant ones related to the topic and assigned readings for the current, prior or upcoming week.
