Install Windows XP Professional from a CD-ROM or over the network from a network share
Identify the upgrade paths for and upgrade earlier versions of Microsoft Windows to Windows XP Professional
Know how to use the Help and Support Center to troubleshoot Windows XP Professional
Plan, create, and manage Windows XP Professional local user accounts and groups
Install, configure, and troubleshoot network protocols
Configure and manage network bindings
Configure Domain Name System (DNS) clients and use the DNS Service included in Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
Use the Active Directory service included in Windows 2000 Server to support Windows XP Professional administration
Set up, configure, and troubleshoot printers and printer pools
Share and manage local and network printers.
Plan, set, and manage NT file system (NTFS) folder and file permissions

Use the Backup Utility to back up and restore data and to run the Automated System Recovery Wizard to back up and restore the system partition
Use the New Connection Wizard to configure network and Internet connections
Identify the steps in the boot process and modify and troubleshoot the boot process
